The TGV station option
Many travellers first go to Champagne-Ardenne TGV at Bezannes, forty minutes from Châlons, and take the train from there. That remains possible and is often cheaper: we cover that short run on its own too.
PRIVATE TRANSFER
From Châlons, reaching Charles de Gaulle by train means going through Paris and crossing the city, or first getting to Champagne-Ardenne TGV. The road takes a little under two hours, in one go.
WORTH KNOWING
Many travellers first go to Champagne-Ardenne TGV at Bezannes, forty minutes from Châlons, and take the train from there. That remains possible and is often cheaper: we cover that short run on its own too.
Châlons hosts the regional administration and a good deal of institutional business. For a day return to Paris or the airport, hourly hire avoids tying up a car and hunting for somewhere to park.
At two hours by road, an 8 am flight means leaving at around 4.30 am. Those times are booked the day before at the latest, so the chauffeur knows in good time.
WHICH CAR
